I blame the alcohol.
In other news I've been having strange thoughts about the distortions of true curves lately, and how the asymmetries work in certain contexts when combined with radial acceleration and lift. I'm not sure where my brain is trying to go with this though.
Aside from that, sleep is good.

The sun is cut, by the image of a maul, not one but two.
Flying head to head, a ring in reply.
The truth is flattened in the middle.

The lights go down and the movie starts.
Scenic and surreal the movie is never quite intelligable and coherant, the plot lost in the sensuality of the theme. Black and white, classic romance, girl guy. The stereotypes match. There is a ripple in the movie however, and the theater's focus shifts from soft to hard.
The holes in the screen become apparent, and the 20's gilt on the walls is in disrepair. The plaster needs work and in the center of it all is you and only you.
The wind continues shaking the screen from behind it.

Man can I pick em'.
I've always had a penchant for wierd movies, not nessicarially disturbing or anything like that, just wierd.
Lain was cool, it took a few viewings to wrap my head around it.
A clockwork orange was a crackin good tail.
Don still hasn't forgiven me for dragging him to see Lolita.
The french 3 pack, Red Blue White (not sure of the order though) was really good.
So why o why does my brain hurt so?

The sails flap and snap as the wind fills them, the lines go taunt and humming fills the air, usefulness is found.
For proper sail to be set the sails must be trim and properly orentented, the rudder must be aligned and the ballast properly distributed. All must be in order, then movement can be found.
A galleon sailing into the night.
Now for the important part, Do you want pinstripes on those sails, or fine detailing on the rudder? Will it be oil or latex for the masthead, and proper deck shoes must be issued as kit to crew.
More booty must be found.

Of Sushi and sayings.
Years ago, when I was living in Calgary, one night we were deciding where to go for dinner. So we have this discussion and I remember asking about the Japanese restaraunt across from the apartment that we lived in. This idea gets tossed around for a while and then my mother says, no. That its really fish and stuff, and that I wouldn't like it. So for the next 10 years, I never venture into a Japanese restaraunt because I won't like it. My mom is like that, knows me better than I know myself, and I generally catagorize her words in with writs of law. So finally I spend a month or so plucking up my courage and head into a Japanese restaraunt, this is like a year and a half ago. Since then I feel that I am singlehandedly underwriting the shipments of sushi comming into the city. This doesn't make my mother wrong however, it just means that my tastes in food have devoloped since.
I was pondering in the shower today, about the saying (or curse) 'May you live in interesting times.' I am not sure what to think about it however. Mabey I would like to live in such times, I mean its in interesting times that old conventions die and progress is made. Mabey not however, because there are some people around who I don't want to be hurt by the interesting times that such statements are made around..... hmmm....

What's in a word, but letters.
Whats in a letter, but hopes and dreams.
Accounts literal and figurative.
Accounts keep the world straight, and who owe's whom what in order. Lives are bought and sold in the figures therein.
lives are pictures through space and time, a moving and vibrant reminder of what seperates us from the void. We owe our lives, and tales of our lives, all that is bought and sold back to that void, and whatever its inhabitors are, for eventually our pictures will fade.
And as everyone knows, pictures are worth a thousand words...
