Weblog Commenting by HaloScan.com

:: 30.9.03 ::

I just spend a somewhat wonderful evening reading only to discover that I have fallen into another of my parents habits.

I read time magazine. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Death my come for me now.

So, it seems that I have finished helping to move the warehouse. Say we have 1800 palletts of stuff there, and say that we took each one down and wrapped it and put it on the truck. Now add to that that we had 4 forklifts involved with the wrapping, and that I can't drive any of them so was just wrapping, and add to that that about 200 got done before I got there, and add a healthy margin fore error and you get about 300 palletts that I shrinkwrapped in 2 days. It doesn't sound like alot but my shoulders are burning.

At least we're done and I don't have to go in tomorrow.

and the 19 hours of overtime are nice too. Later folks.

So I've been asked to include an occasional life update in my weblog as some of my friends never have any idea whats going on in my life.

Unfortunetly my mood is way too cynical for this today.

In fact I'm too tired to continue writing.

I should be on more soonish. The connection thing is getting resolved.

Later

Hey, sorry for the long time updating. I've been the victim of some sort of virus. Soon Linux will make it all better though. So thats all I got for ya. Its not that I haven't been dreaming for you, its simply that dreams, as all else, disappear like smoke in the vastness of the sky, trying to recreate the smoke in your vision sullies the origional message in the noise.

Later.

And the wind comes crashing in.

-----

It never is like it was before. usually it has changed and cheapened. it becomes harder with age and has too much to live up too...

-----

Almost like that new stile of furniture. It seems that everywhere you turn all the new furniture is pressboard or some variant thereof. Why don't they make furniture out of wood anymore? Well solid from the tree wood. It seems to me that this is because of costs predominantly. It's probabally cheaper to take poor quality wood and press it into perfect shapes than it would be to find a better tree. Therefore the cost of those things that are made of solid wood become more prohibitive to most consumers...

-----

Its amaizing how much work can go into perfection, measuring every wall, every angle to within a micron of what you need. And for what gain? the gain would seem to be minimal just based upon the fact that with changes in temperature and moisture length and warp will change...

-----

The tides change like that, one advance followed by a receeding. Then carried out on a larger scale simply based on the fact that the small is the resultant of local phenonanom whereas the large is the result of global and interglobal phenonanom...

-----

That does not carry over so well to organics though. Anything that carries its own thought processes can choose to be independant of all physical events. When choice enters into the question all comparison with natural occruances is at an end...

-----

And how is it again that something that stands outside of the system that has so defined it cannot detect the forces that herd it? How is it that the local scale can dwarf ones vision enough that the global is dim?

-----

When viewed from the global however, choice simply breeds diversity in established behavior patterns. And a pattern can once again emerge from the noise.

----

The tide crashes in threatening to engulf us again, the vorticies begin to slowly tug at out splayed limbs.

-----

Ever downwards, theres nothing down there, is there?

-----

Static is the rule here.

-----

Or is that stasis?

Early in the day, everyting is fresh and new. Lightly coated and ready for the day. As the day starts young it then slowly probressex, through the wild starts ups and the rages of hormones until it has matured, ripened on the vine and the nature of the beast can be released. From its torment it is released into the world, to coat the remains of the day in its own insanity andbedevil us all. There is no counter to the beast, only you must ride it through into evening. Where all is slow and can be enjoyed the better for the taming that came before.

I believe I must begin as did howard inn his last upbdate, 'Sorry for the dearth of open letter posts recently.' I'm having linking to the internet problems. Basicly my roomates want an internet connection, and because I haven't reset up my server with linux, well I can't do that yet. So I ended up with a domain splitter which works... inconsistantly. Anyway all technical matters aside.
