So I'm not much for the blog-lemming effect but I'm interested to see how many of my mp3's out of the first 20 I recognize...

5.Project Pitchfork - Steelrose (Talla 2XLC remix) [I recognize the song and artist, but not the remix]
6.Velvet Acid Christ - Futile (Nazi Bastard Mix) [See comment for 5]
7.Kidney Thieves - Feathers [Ooh ooh! Another one I recognize.]
8.The 69 eyes - Still waters run deep [I have heard of the band, does that count?]
9.Lords of Acid - Lessons in love [Another one that I recognize]

Well, it appears I did better than I thought I would... Final stats:
Recognize the song: 55%
Recognize song but not mix: 5%
Recognize band but not song:35%
Which brings me to 95%

Mabey someone can tell me where the last 5% went...

Anyway, so the conclutions that I draw from this are:
1. Get sound card working
2. Do more math.
3. Figure out who wrote the randomizer and have them shot.
4. No wonder I'm so messed up.

So its been a strange week. In retrospect good, but in issue bad. Here's a list:
All roleplaying games played and seem to be going good.
I still seem to have friends.
Said friends seem to care for me.
Earlier shift at work.
Written up to get said earlier shift.
Less stress in new shift at work.
Less overtime as well.
Tai Chi again!
Sleep, glorious glorious sleep.
New roomate seems ok.
Motivation to get school stuff out of way.
Money!
Car in near future.
Dreams with scantily clad women.
Where we... er... play chess.
(Chess is very tactical I'll have you know.)
Re contact with old friends.
Who still like and remember me... (Who woulda thought?)
And Sleep, glorious glorious sleep.

So I have a new roomate. 15 days later, Arthur has been replaced.

He's a thin bulgarian PHd student who came into contact with us through some convoluted qwirk of my father's extended friends/colleges network.
