Well, I broke down and did something that I haven't done since I left home (excepting when I go back home). I made KD. I like kd and all but whenever I am cooking for myself I usually would rather eat something else. But KD it is tonight, and so I go.

My new boss made his first really unpopular decision yesterday. Once he realized the ramifications he reversed it today. See, at work we get salary plus overtime. Standard overtime rules as they have been applied up to this point is anything over 8 hours in a day, and weekends are overtime. This does not follow the HRDC standards however. What those say is anything over 8 in a day and 44 in a week. So my boss changed it from one to the other. The difference is, as I am sure all my astute readers (assuming I have any left) have guessed, is that if, nay when, I head in on saturdays to do some work, the first four hours are not overtime.

However there is another small thing to point out about this arrangement. If I get paid salary for all the regular hours, it doesn't change for the first four hours on saturday, ergo I have the option of going into work for free for a few hours, and maybe making a little coin on the side, If I want to donate a large percentage of my day off to work. Or I could sleep in.

So when my manager was told that no one would be working weekends again at work, he quickly reversed that decision.

I don't have much other news, I'm going to the Evil place this weekend. Went to Jasper and had a blast last weekend.

Oh, and I'm restarting VGAP.
