Ola.
Garbage was a good concert. Their opener was really good, called The Start. Their levels were unfortunely really off but thats reds for you. Their CD's are really pretty good. Should give me a new band to fixate on.
Shirley Mansen was hot, as usual. After a poor moment between the first and second songs they rocked out as usual. The crowd was great, a little static prehaps, but the band seemed to like us. They pulled out some classics and played some of the songs that I really like. As with Gorra, that they didn't play Hammerin' in my Head which is one of their penultimate songs was a very little bit disappointing. I'm getting all antsy for the next set of concerts comming up; KMFDM and Metric, capped off with a Henry Rollins Spoken word set. Anyway, just thought I'd rave a little in the middle of all my middling rantings.
So I went out and paid for more edumication, hopefully it'll help me with my lifes plans. As with all things it isn't finding the path or getting prepared thats hard for me, it is, always, taking the first step. The rest should be easy. If I do well in this class then I should be able to do well in another, and then I should be able to do well in a fulltime program. I just hope life and experience have prepared me for this.

Hey.
Sorry to those who I told that I'd come dancing. When I got there 3 busses had just unloaded and the entrance lineup was huge. I probabally would have made it in for last call.
In other keeping my promises bits (or not) I present:
Green Thing Mk. II (Now with bits of Red!)
Use 1/2 lb spinich, well washed, spun, with as many of the stalkes removed as you are willing to do, and also torn into bite sized pieces. Also use strawberries sliced legnthwise, about 1-2 small packages (maybe 10-20 berries?)
Dressing
1/3 cup white sugar ½ cup oil ¼ cup white vinegar ¼ tsp paprika ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. minced onion (very finely minced)(white or red)
-Refrigerate the spinich and strawberries until just before serving. -Mix togeather holding some strawberries back. -Sprinkle with one ore more of the following. Lightly toast approx 1/4 cup in unoiled pan. . -Pine Nuts . -Sunflower seeds . -Pumpkin seeds . -slivered almonds . -walnuts. -Add dressing (do not use it all) to taste, just lightly coated usually. -Toss -Add remaining strawberries on top as most of the others will have settled to the bottom.
(This dressing also works well with spinich, julienned white onion, and mandrin orange segments.)
